The Smart Drill II holds the lens in place by the finishing block. Most common block types fit directly into the lock down arms of the drill. Some block types require the use of a snap on adapter to fit in the system. Please select the block type used in your office so we can configure your drill prior to shipment. If you are unsure of which block type you use, please call Tabco at 1-800-394-9285 and we can help you determine the correct choice.

Formula Charts

Formula Chart Subscription Service provides placement formulas to use for most frames. This service is updated as new frames are introduced. The charts show a diagram of the lens shape and hole placement, identifies drill bit size to use, and includes special notes and processing tips to make drilling easy and fast. The formula charts are included with your drill for 6 months. After 6 months there is a $149 per year subscription fee which includes $149 in store credit for use towards any optical supplies.
